♥ How did you go about the planning process for your wedding?
After visiting the golf club and falling in love with the venue we decided to go to the wedding expo that was on that day. It was such an easy process, I was pleasantly surprised. We met with Michelle the wedding coordinator from Pelican Waters Golf Club and got to see the beautiful set up that Cloud Nine had put together. We found our photographer and celebrant that day as well. It was such a beautiful day and experience!
♥ What was most important to you in organising your day?
Stress was the one thing I didn’t want to have on the day, although it’s hard to not fuss over every little thing it was easy to relax and focus on getting ready with my friends and family. Knowing that everything else was being looked after by the Golf Club and Cloud Nine was great, I had nothing to do but wait to see my future husband.
♥ What was the highlight of your wedding day?
After the craziness of the ceremony, it was so nice to go off onto the golf course with the bridal party and relax with a few drinks in hand. We all had so much fun in the golf carts, driving around to all the special spots! It was all just so beautiful, it didn’t matter what way you looked. When the sun was setting it was just like a dream, a perfect setting for a perfect day.
♥ Any special moments, events from your wedding day?
Kath our celebrant was hyping up the guests while I was nervously waiting on the other side of the bridge, all I could here was them yelling out “we do” and cheering. Walking across the bridge, seeing the set up and all the guests for the first time was incredible.
♥ Any romantic/funny moments or stories about you and your husband from the day or the pre-wedding planning?
We had just been to another venue but didn’t feel like it was the ‘one”. We decided to go and have a look at the Golf Club after finding some amazing photo’s on the web. Thank god we did, as soon as we walked in it was like a breath of fresh air. We were welcomed in without any booking or any notice, as soon as we both sat down we looked at each other and said “this is it, this is the place”.
